OVERVIEW

With an impressive workforce of over 800 employees, Erbil Steel Factory is the unequivocal leader in steel production for the region’s construction sector. The factory’s rolling mill produces an average of 600 tons of steel daily from the smelting of scrap iron, and it is conveniently located just outside the Kurdistan capital city of Erbil.

The factory provides its own electricity thanks to its 32MW powerhouse, which enables scrap iron smelting, steel casting, and reinforced steel bar rolling. Through Darin Group’s forward-thinking vision, the Erbil Steel Factory is able to perform all maintenance and operation works to the powerhouse through its own in-house team of qualified engineers and electricians.
